What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser local storage to remember preferences. This page describes both types of storage and the optional website tags they control.

Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These technologies support sign-in, security and payments. Blocking them in your browser may prevent those features from working.

CookiePurposeDuration
sb-*-auth-tokenSupabase authentication sessionPersistent; refreshed during use and cleared on sign-out. Browser limits may shorten retention.
unreel-cookie-consentStores your choices in local storage on this browser and site addressUntil you change your choices or clear site data; no automatic expiry

Analytics Cookies (Optional)

Google Analytics helps us understand visits and how the platform is used. Its website tag loads only after you allow analytics. You can withdraw that choice through Cookie preferences.

CookiePurposeDuration
_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics visitor and session measurementDefault up to 2 years; provider settings and browser limits can shorten this

Marketing Cookies (Optional)

Meta Pixel helps measure advertising results and personalize advertising. Its website tag loads only after you allow marketing. These website preferences do not control tracking within emails.

CookiePurposeDuration
_fbpMeta advertising measurement and personalizationTypically 3 months; provider settings and browser limits can shorten this

The identifiers shown above are common examples. Providers may use additional identifiers according to their settings and your interaction with their services. For Google's current cookie defaults, see Google Analytics cookie usage.

When purchase measurement is allowed, the site also saves a local marker to avoid reporting the same purchase again from this browser. This marker remains until site data is cleared. After a listing checkout, a temporary checkout reference also stays in session storage for the current tab so a page change does not lose a pending confirmation or a later consent choice.

Managing Cookies

You can change your choices at any time. Analytics and marketing are separate options and are off until you allow them. Withdrawing consent stops further tracking by the website tags; it does not delete information already sent to the providers or automatically remove existing cookies.

If your browser prevents saving a choice, it applies in the current page only and the banner tells you that it was not saved. Reloading or returning later may restore previously saved choices. Allow site storage if you want the change to persist.

  • Use the cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit
  • Clear cookies and site data through your browser settings to remove stored identifiers and choices
  • Choices are saved separately for each browser and site address, including the main site and app subdomain
  • Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely, though this may impact functionality
